Jeopardy! confirmed in 2022 that Mayim Bialik and Ken Jenningswere being made permanent co-hosts of the quiz show, officially ending the search for the late Alex Trebek's replacement.
From May 31, 2021, to June 11, 2021, Mayim guest hosted the game show while the program's executives vetted who would replace Trebek, following his death from pancreatic cancer.
Throughout the season, she and former contestant Ken Jennings split hosting duties.
In early Mary 2023, she abruptly exited the show in support of the Writer's Strike and was replaced by Ken with just one week of filming season 39.
Mayim's role as host of the popular show has resulted in some harsh words from Jeopardy! fans.
